Agriturismo with large pool near a beautiful sandy beach

Life in Sicily clearly has a different rhythm from elsewhere. The enthusiastic and friendly young owners of this agriturismo took all the time to show me around and proudly told me about their plans and ideas for their agriturismo. They have converted part of the old farmhouse into seven comfortable apartments and another part, which used to house the ancient olive oil mill, is still in its original condition and not yet renovated. At the back of the agriturismo is a very large and well maintained garden with a huge swimming pool with shallow area for children. There are plenty of umbrellas and sun beds and from the pool you can see the sea in the distance.

The garden is beautifully landscaped with palm trees, banana trees and ancient olive trees and a large lawn. Once a week, the owner’s father  spends all day - from eight in the morning until eight at night- just mowing the huge lawn. In a corner of the garden – at some distance from the apartments - there are 2 large pergolas where occasional weddings are organised. There is also a small playground for children.

Sandy beach

The agriturismo is near a village and stands on the main road to the beach. You can walk to the sea (1.5 km), but upon request they can also arrange rental bikes. It’s a large sandy beach, partly public and partly with beach bars with sunbeds and umbrellas. The young couple lives on site and is happy to give you information on what to do and see in the area and where to eat. They try all the restaurants themselves first and when satisfied they recommend the restaurant to their guests. In the village, about 200 metres on foot, there is a supermarket, various bars and a good bakery.

The apartments

There are 6 apartments on the ground floor with private verandah with table and chairs. The apartments are open plan with a double bed and open kitchen, partly separated by a wall, and are equipped with air conditioning, safe and smart TV. Some apartments have a sofa bed that can be used for extra guests. On the first floor is the 7th apartment with a huge roof terrace with sea views.

The owners make every effort to make their guests feel at home. For example, the apartments are cleaned daily, so guests can enjoy a carefree stay.

Ideal agriturismo for beach lovers and for those who want to be within walking distance of a village. The hospitable owners will make your stay as pleasant as possible! Noto and Siracusa can be reached in about 25 minutes by car.
