An agriturismo is a converted farmhouse with comfortable apartments. Or a restored country house, luxurious villa or beautiful glamping site. Most agriturismos produce their own wine or olive oil, and many of them also farm cereals and vegetables. There's ample space for children to play in, and some have a playground as well.
Excellent facilities for children
As the weather in Italy is usually fine, children can play outdoors to their heart’s content. An agriturismo with a playground is ideal for young children, as it attracts other children too. This makes it a great place for children to meet, and make holiday playmates. These playgrounds usually consist of a few swings, a slide, play hut, small football field, and sometimes include a trampoline.
