A peaceful hideaway in the heart of Barolo Country

Tucked away between the vineyards of the Barolo region lies a tranquil agriturismo where peace and comfort go hand in hand. As soon as you arrive, you’ll feel the calm settle in — this is a place to truly unwind. And yet, within just 15 minutes, you can find yourself in a lively little town with charming shops, great restaurants, and sunny terraces. When I visited this stylish agriturismo, I was immediately struck by its unique setting. On one side, the vineyards stretch out before you, and in the distance, you’ll spot an old castle sitting proudly on a hilltop. A picture-perfect scene — authentic, atmospheric, and unmistakably Piedmont.

Wellness and comfort

There’s a lovely pool with comfortable loungers where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. But the small spa is definitely worth a visit too. From October through June, you can reserve it for private use (for a fee) and unwind in the sauna, jacuzzi, and an emotional wellness shower.
The cozy communal tasting room offers a selection of local wines and regional products — think handmade pasta, sauces, snacks, soft drinks, and coffee pods. Everything is available on a self-serve basis, making it feel a bit like visiting good friends who’ve thought of everything. It’s also very convenient — perfect for buying ingredients to prepare a quick meal or a simple breakfast upon arrival.
For even more comfort, there’s a welcoming lounge with board games and a fireplace — ideal for cooler evenings — and a separate laundry room with a washing machine and dryer.

Ideal for cyclists and explorers

Cyclists will feel right at home here. There’s secure bike storage, and the reception is happy to help arrange (electric) bike rentals. The narrow country roads winding through the vineyards are perfect for a scenic ride — though in this hilly landscape, an e-bike can definitely come in handy. You’ll also find free Wi-Fi, private parking, and a charging station for electric vehicles.

Bright and comfortable apartments

The apartments aren’t very large, but they’re bright and thoughtfully furnished for a comfortable stay. Each one includes a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and coffee machine, a modern bathroom, and air conditioning. Some also have a private terrace, small balcony, or garden — ideal for enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.
