Large agriturismo in southern Tuscany, close to the sea
This is a slightly larger agriturismo conveniently located between the sunflowers and wheat fields. When I visited the agriturismo the sunflowers were in full bloom, a beautiful sight! The property is located in the Maremma area of southern Tuscany, between the city of Grosseto and the beautiful seaside resort of Castiglione della Pescaia. This is my favourite seaside resort in the Maremma because of the many restaurants, terraces and shops. In the nearby village you will find a supermarket and some shops, bars and restaurants.
The agriturismo is situated only 25 minutes’ drive from the beaches of Castiglione della Pescaia. I love to go here myself and can recommend the beach north of the town. And a little further, the beach at Punta Ala is a must. And if you want to try a very special beach? Go to Cala Violina, the most beautiful beach in Tuscany. This beach nestles in a bay and is accessible only by boat or on foot. A one-hour walk on a nice path along the coast. They can tell you how to get there at the agriturismo’s reception desk.
The apartments
The agriturismo has a total of 16 apartments. The apartments are fairly small, but very cosy and modern. The one-room apartments measure 25 to 35m2 and have one bedroom. The four-room apartments measure 100m2 and have four bedrooms. There are also a number of "bilocale" and "trilocale" apartments, with two and three bedrooms. The apartments all come with a terrace, air conditioning, WiFi, TV, hairdryer and safe. The kitchens of the apartments are small and have a two-burner stove and a fridge.
Pool, golf, restaurant, breakfast and SPA
The agriturismo has a swimming pool with jacuzzi and aperitivo bar, restaurant and breakfast room, a barbecue area, a golf practice range and a small playground. In good weather breakfast is served on the terrace or otherwise in the breakfast room. Breakfast and dinners are not included.
There is also a small SPA with jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, relax zone and the possibility to get massages. Use of the SPA is for a fee and only for adults (maximum 6 people). You can book the SPA and massages at the reception.
